The Job

The Arabian Gulf Cup is a high football tournament in the Middle East, and I was responsible for operating the big video screens in the 60,000 seater Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, as part of a wider team delivering Sports Presentation.

We delivered several activations and match entertainment throughout the 3 week tournament, and I worked fast to ensure content was updated in a short timeframe, working around rehearsals, client approvals, and the Showcaller schedule. During matches I was vigilant in reacting to events including VAR ensuring correct content was shown on screen.

I’m thankful for this opportunity. I embraced technical challenges and have gained perspective on the wide range of moving parts and roles it takes to provide Sports Presentation at large scale.
