The Job

I was responsible for the full technical delivery of The Varsity Match, an annual sporting competition of the Oxford & Cambrirdge Universities rivalry, taking on the Ice Hockey tournament.

In the lead up, I designed the Broadcast graphics, and facilitated the technical workflow and delivery of the live stream.

On the broadcast day, I set up and guaranteed the workflow as well as operating instant replays for the matches. University volunteers assisted with Graphics & Camera Operation.

I thoroughly enjoyed working on this event. The passion & support from the players & spectators more than made up for the long hours and hard work undertaken to ensure a successful broadcast.
